Designed honestly.
An account area would only make sense if the concept became a real service. Until then, this page avoids presenting a fake sign-in form or collecting details that have nowhere legitimate to go.
It also demonstrates an important UX decision: sometimes the responsible empty state is better than an interface that pretends to work.
